Psychological Assessments
Psychological assessments can help you get clarity on the mental health conditions that you may be dealing with. Why seek an assessment?
Psychological Assessments: Welcome
You may benefit from a psychologist assessment if you:

🔹 Are seeking greater understanding of the symptoms impacting your overall wellbeing and quality of life.
🔹 Want to confirm a diagnosis and determine possible psychotherapy or medication treatment options that may benefit you most.
🔹 Require a confirmed diagnosis for your employment or academic institution.
🔹 Wish to measure unhelpful patterns that interfere with obtaining your life goals and evaluate the outcomes in your treatment.
The Process
1. Assessment
Meet with a registered psychologist twice (two-hours each session) where your assessment will take place.
2. Self-Reports
Complete take-home self-report measures to help inform the assessment.
3. Diagnosis
The registered psychologist will evaluate the results and prepare a report confirming your diagnosis.
4. Feedback
Attend a final one-hour appointment to obtain your report and receive feedback on the outcome of the assessment.
For those only seeking a clinical impression of their symptoms from our registered psychologist, you may request an abbreviated assessment. This option is suitable for those not requiring a formal diagnosis or report with your psychological assessment results.
Psychological assessment services are offered by DBT Wellness, a business alliance with DBT Virtual .
