Favourite DBT Skill
“I have been fascinated by the results of the emotion regulation skill, Opposite Action. I have used Opposite Action whenever I need to change or manage behaviours such as inactivity or rumination, and when acting on my emotions proves ineffective. Opposite Action is a skill that not only allows me to change the unhelpful expressions of my emotions, but is also a DBT skill I will always have to use if I need assistance.”
